The lovely mixture of warmth and enthusiasm that is Tom Lakeman is this week’s Passion Podder. After starting out with a degree in Graphic Design, followed by a few twists and turns, this creative G is the founder of The Blackout Studio; a photographic collective based around his distinctive style as a photographer (p.s. the clue is in the name of the studio just FYI).

This guy oozes creativity and passion and has just made the stella jump from working in his bedroom to setting up a studio he can call his own. Not only does this mean he actually gets to see his photos hung up but he can also do crazy wild things like organise a shoot that requires the whole room to be filled with candy floss. That wasn’t happening on the day we were there though, although he did have the most sumptuous tray of fresh strawberries on offer…hoorah for the smaller dentist bill.
