Inspiration in a nutshell –that’s what Ruth Barnes is. Founder of The Other Woman, she’s a radio presenter, a blogger and a general women bigger-upper – not a bad super speedy CV that is it? Fed up with being a music journalist just hoping that someone would pluck her out to become radio’s next bestest and brightest, she’s set about building her own broadcasting empire, and a darn fine job she’s doing to. After a chance decision to give her first show a topical hook that was going to catch people’s attention, she is now the go-to presenter for all things new music and lady-filled.  So now, via turning down a show at Xfm, it is that that has landed her the breakfast show gig on Amazing Radio. In a nutshell, all pretty darn refreshing.
